摘要：Kripke's notion of metaphysical modality(i.e.necessity and possibility)is one of the most important concepts in the contemporary analytic philosophy,and it is also the basis of many metaphysical speculations.These metaphysical speculations sometimes lead to accepting some metaphysical entities not belonging to this natural,physical world,and therefore they appear to contradict naturalism(i.e.physicalism).This paper proposes a naturalistic interpretation for the Kripkean modality,as a naturalist's response to those metaphysical speculations,and as a proof that naturalism can account for the Kripkean notion of modality,including his necessary a posteriori truths and contingent a priori truths...
